My Story:
Satara is our female Atlantic harbor seal and has been serving as an ambassador educating public at Ocean Connections since her arrival in 1997. Satara enjoys interacting with the public in daily presentations and interactive programs. People of all ages enjoy her in our Aquatic Adventure programs as she loves to rub against participant’s legs and entertain them with her antics. The only female harbor seal in our pool, Satara is certainly in charge! Satara's favorite things to do are to play with enrichment in her environment and to chase the other animals around the pool letting them know that seals rule!
