Animal Training Job Shadow

Ages: 13 and Up

Interested in the career of animal training? Our Animal Trainer Job Shadow program is just for you! In this 3 ½ hour private program, you will spend your morning shadowing our trainers and learn about the field of marine mammal care and training. You will assist in the daily activities involved with caring for our animals including feeding, cleaning, and training the seals and sea lions of Ocean Connections! This program allows individual participants to experience and explore the career path of a marine mammal trainer with one-on-one interaction time with our animals.

Marine Mammal Camp (Grades 1-3)

Ages: 6 to 8

Looking for the ultimate camp experience? This unique 5 day educational summer day camp in Hershey, PA provides a full week of fun as you get to know our animals up close and personal.  Campers ages 6-8 will experience the journey of a lifetime as they dive into the world of marine mammals.  Each day explores different topics including adaptations, animal training, and more. Campers will have the opportunity to explore ZooAmerica and experience daily interactions with the seals and sea lions of Ocean Connections. Marine Mammal Camp participants are able to feed, interact, and participate in training sessions all while enjoying loads of fun at our animal habitat! Our Marine Mammal Camp (Grades 1-3) is only available at our Hershey location and runs from 9:00am-12:00pm.
