It is with a heavy heart that the Oceans of Fun animal care team announces the loss of our rescued male California sea lion, Nalu.  We are dedicated to giving rescued animals a second chance at life but sadly we don't know what their life was like before they came to us.  Nalu will forever be remembered for his sweet, loving personality.

With less than 30 individuals remaining, the vaquita is the world’s most endangered marine mammal.  Organizations accredited by the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums such as Oceans of Fun are working together to keep this animal from extinction but we need your help!

It is with an extremely heavy heart that we announce we had to say goodbye to our beloved California sea lion, Slick.  In his honor, we have started the Slick Conservation Fund and will continue to remember this beloved Oceans of Fun family member.

Accredited zoos and aquariums are a crucial component in the race against extinction.  These facilities are dedicated to the conservation of all species and we need your support.

Our 18 month old pup, Reese, has us starting out the New Year hopeful.  After discovering a birth defect within her throat, the Oceans of Fun animal care team has worked relentlessly to successfully ensure her best chance of survival.  Check out this determined little pup’s amazing story!
